Screw conveyor introduction

Compared with other transmission equipment, screw conveyor has the characters of small entire machine section, good sealing performance, stable operation, available middle muti-point feeding and discharging, safe operation and convenient maintenance. The equipment is suitable to convey powdery materials, practical materials, and small block materials, which has been widely used in material building, metallurgy, chemical, power, coal, machinery, and grain and food industry. It is not suitable to convey perishable materials, very cohesive coking materials.

Screw conveyor features

Screw conveyer is consisted of conveyer body, feeding and discharging hole and driving device; the screw blade of screw conveyer has three modes: hypostatic screw surface, belt screw surface and blade screw surface. Among them, the blade screw surface is used less to transit the condensable materials with high viscosity.

But this blade screw also has the function of mixing and integrating to materials. From the angle of materials displacement direction, screw conveyer can be divided into horizontal screw conveyer and perpendicular screw conveyer that are used in the horizontal transmission and perpendicular lifting to all powdery materials, granular materials and small piece materials.

This screw conveyer is not suitable to be used to transit the special materials because they are easy to deteriorate and agglomerate with the characters of large viscosity, heat and pressure intolerance and strong causticity.
